Quality rather than quantity

The quality department of DS SM upholds a quality assurance system based on DS/EN ISO 9001:2000, which is thoroughly described in our quality assurance handbook. One of the quality department’s main fields of responsibility is the initiation of measures necessary in order to ensure concordance with the contractual demands.

The control department (QC), which is attached to the quality department, is responsible for inspection and testing. NDE is carried out with the help of staff qualified according to NORDTEST levels 1, 2 and 3.

• Certified quality system according to: DS/EN ISO 9001 - 2000


The Danish Working Environment Service
• Corporate approval to perform fusion welding on pressure tanks and steam boilers.
• Approval to make x-ray examinations on welded pressure tanks, steam boilers and pipelines.
• Approval to restamp material.


Tüv-Certificate
• Workshop approval according to EN 729-2/TRB-200/AD/Merkblatt HP0 


GSI/SLV Hannover
• Großer Eignungsnachweis, klasse "E" (Comprehensive Form of Verification)
• DIN 18800-7
• DIN 15018/4133


NTO
• Registrered as an NTO approved test-centre DK-016
 

Welding Certification
DS SM maintains welding certificates with reference to the below norms, types and demands:

• EN 287.1+AC
